About Dani Drywa
Hello and welcome to my personal website. My name is Dani Drywa (also known as Dani Crunch) and I write about my biggest passions: programming computer software, video games, and crafting. I was born in Germany and lived there for the longest part of my life. In 2014 I moved to the United Kingdom and have been living there since.
I have many interests but my biggest is programming computer software. I have been working for over 10 years in the computer software industry and have worked with various technologies. Some of the things I worked on were video games, server middleware, trading platforms, and plug-ins for Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. Recently I have decided to go back to the basics and approach programming from a different perspective.
My second biggest interest are video games. I have not been much involved in the creation of video games after moving to the United Kingdom, but my interest in the practice never went away. I would say I am more interested in retro video games from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) era up to the Nintendo 64 (N64) era, but I do enjoy a lot of well made modern video games as well.
Crafting is also a a big interest of mine. This includes book binding, sewing with fabrics, and case mods for electrical devices. However, I do not practice it as much as I would like to because programming computer software takes up the majority of my time.
Apart from writing on this website I also release the occasional video on YouTube, or live stream on Twitch. By far the best way to reach me is via email. It is my preferred way of communication as it allows me to give a more thoughtful response.
