Modifying my Nintendo Switch

I had a bit of fun with modding my Nintendo Switch. I gave it a transparent outer shell and switched out the Joycon joysticks with hall sensing ones. The old joysticks developed a drift and instead of buying new controllers I decided to repair them. It was a fun experience and it gave me a new appreciation for the device. It truly feels like a personal device now.

This is not meant to be a step by step guide on how to change the joysticks and shell. I just wanted to document my experience with it in pictures and share them with you in this gallery:

I also changed the backplate of the console itself but that process was so quick I forgot to take pictures of it. Anyways this was the original console:
